IT Support Engineer - Part Time

IT Support Engineer works closely with Service Manager to directly assist clients with network, servers, desktop, software and hardware technology issues. This individual is required to know how to configure, manage, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot issues in an effective and efficient way.

Technical Experience and Skills:

  • BS in Computer Science or 5+ years of  IT experience
  • Windows Server 2003 – 2019 Active Directory Administration, DNS, DHCP, File Servers, RDS
  • Microsoft Windows OS 7 – 10 support and troubleshooting
  • Microsoft Office applications 2007 – 2016 installation, troubleshooting and general use
  • Working experience with Office 365, Google Apps with Microsoft Outlook profile configuration
  • Mac OS experience desired
  • Advanced knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, setup and installation
  • iOS and Android and basic knowledge of mobile devices, tablets and mobile device management
  • Basic understanding of domain-based networks, such as file and print shares, mail and application servers
  • Active Directory management such as user account creation and modification, security and distribution groups
  • Hands-on working experience with Routers, Firewalls, Switches, Wireless Access Points and other networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS & DHCP concepts
  • Experience using Help Desk Ticketing platforms and Remote Management Systems (ConnectWise, SolarWinds is a plus)
